As for God, His way is perfect! The Word of the Lord is tested and tried; He is a shield to all who take refuge and put their trust in Him

He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other] things?

And if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, [then] He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also restore to life your mortal (short lived, perishable) bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you.

May blessing be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ Who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm!

That in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue [frankly and openly] confess and acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father

I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for any thing and equal to anything through Him who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’ s sufficiency].

But Jesus looked at them and said, With men this is impossible, but all things are possible with God.

Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know.

For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.

The Lord is my Rock, my Fortress, and my Deliverer; my God, my keen and firm Strength in Whom I will trust and take refuge, my Shield, and the Horn of my salvation, my High Tower.

Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart.

Commit your way to the Lord [roll and repose each care of your lord on Him]; trust also in Him and He will bring it to pass.

Be still and rest in the Lord; wait for Him and patiently lean yourself upon Him; fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.

But the meek[in the end] shall inherit the earth and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

The steps of a [good] man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way [and He busies Himself with his every step].

Wait for and expect the Lord and keep and heed His way, and He will exalt you to inherit the land; [in the end] when the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.

...For truly I say to you, if you have faith[that is living] like a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, Move from here to yonder place, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith."

As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him.

My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn [Horn here symbolises strength.] of my salvation. He is my stronghold, my refuge and my saviour - from violent men you save me.

The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him.

Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.

In you, O LORD, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; deliver me in your righteousness.

The LORD redeems his servants; no-one will be condemned who takes refuge in him.

How priceless is your unfailing love! Both high and low among men find [Or love, O God! Men find; or love! Both heavenly beings and men find] refuge in the shadow of your wings.

Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.

Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.

In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?

When I am afraid, I will trust in you.

Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.

Do not trust in extortion or take pride in stolen goods; though your riches increase, do not set your heart on them.

Let the righteous rejoice in the LORD and take refuge in him; let all the upright in heart praise him!

In you, O LORD, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame.

For you have been my hope, O Sovereign LORD, my confidence since my youth.

For you have been my hope, O Sovereign LORD, my confidence since my youth.

But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign LORD my refuge; I will tell of all your deeds.

I will say [Or He says] of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."

I will say [Or He says] of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."

He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

O house of Israel, trust in the LORD - He is their help and shield.

You who fear him, trust in the LORD - He is their help and shield.

The LORD is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion.

It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man. It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.

Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures for ever.

He is my loving God and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield, in whom I take refuge, who subdues peoples under me.

Do not put your trust in princes, in mortal men, who cannot save.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

A greedy man stirs up dissension, but he who trusts in the LORD will prosper.

Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.

Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.

Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.

Trust in the LORD for ever, for the LORD, the LORD, is the Rock eternal.

I will save you; you will not fall by the sword but will escape with your life, because you trust in me, declares the LORD.

The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in Him.

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.

Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labour in the Lord is not in vain.

That everyone may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all his toil - this is the gift of God.

Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.

But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.

The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labour.

For we are God's fellow-workers; you are God's field, God's building.

He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands, that he may have something to share with those in need.

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

May the favour of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us - yes, establish the work of our hands.

But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation always say, "The LORD be exalted!"

Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot wash it away. If one were to give all the wealth of his house for love, it would be utterly scorned.

Love the LORD, all his saints! The LORD preserves the faithful, but the proud He pays back in full.

I love those who love Me, and those who seek Me find Me.

Hatred stirs up dissension, but love covers over all wrongs.

Better a meal of vegetables where there is love than a fattened calf with hatred.

But I tell you: Love your enemies [Some late manuscripts enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you] and pray for those who persecute you.

If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that?

Jesus replied: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind."

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.

.. Love your neighbour as yourself..

To love Him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbour as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.

But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you

If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them.

As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.

If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love.

My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.

Greater love has no-one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

This is my command: Love each other.

And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,who have been called according to his purpose.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.

Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honour one another above yourselves.

Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellow-man has fulfilled the law.

Keep on loving each other as brothers.

Love does no harm to its neighbour. Therefore love is the fulfilment of the law.

If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, "Love your neighbour as yourself," you are doing right.

Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

This is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another.

We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. Anyone who does not love remains in death.

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.

If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him?

Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

No-one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.

In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him.

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

We love because he first loved us.

If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.

And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.

This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands.

And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.

No-one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.

No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.

If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love.

To man belong the plans of the heart, but from the LORD comes the reply of the tongue.

Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.

In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.

He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD.

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.

Better is open rebuke than hidden love.

May the LORD our God be with us as he was with our fathers; may he never leave us nor forsake us.

As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him.

The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.

He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, He restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for His name's sake.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever! Amen.

In a little burst of wrath I hid My face from you for a moment, but with age-enduring love and kindness I will have compassion and mercy on you, says the Lord, your Redeemer.
